Anyone not eating meat here?

I believe it is possible to live healthy without eating meat. There are even some mockmeat products made from various sources. I dont eat meat for quite some time now, i have not yet eaten any mockmeat stuff, i just consume some soy protein powder to supplement protein needs.

I have also read that it is better to have different source mockmeat products eaten (or such wich use multiple ingredients to boost protein content).. although some might be allergic to glutene and such.

I was a vegetarian for almost two years, but I found it really difficult to stay healthy. My dad was not supportive of that lifestyle at all, so I had a rough time with it. Also, it ends up being quite expensive, especially when you have to do it all yourself, and I'm broke, so I quit.

I don't eat meat :D I've been vegetarian for 3 years now. It can actually be cheaper and healthier than you think if you eat a lot of mineral and protein rich veg rather than that fake meat junk.

It is possible of course to have a healthy lifestyle without meat, but I couldn't live without beef and turkey. Ugh now I want a thanksgiving sandwich from d'angelos (turkey, cranberry sauce sandwich, and you dip it in gravy, sooo good)
