Okay so I've been friends with this guy named hunter ever since I was 7. We were little bf and gf when I was 9. we broke up "if you wanna call it that"
a few months later. I didn't like him at 10, 11, 12, and 13. but when I turned 14 I started back liking him, I really tried not to let it show bc I thought it would be weird! "he's a year younger than me btw"
and his little bro has had a crush on me since forever. this year though I've been flirting with him a lot and he's been flirting back. it's driving me crazy not knowing whether or not he likes me! I got on wikihow.com and it said he likes me. but one day He was talking to my brother and he said he didn't like girls like me. and there's no chance he'd go out with my type!
I really like him but I don't want to ruin our friendship. but if I don't do something I won't be able to be around him.
what should I do???

Firstly, I founded the bit I quoted quite amusing.

Secondly, I understand how hard it would be to talk about these things but it is one of the few things you can do. You have to remember that what you heard came someone else which was not you so who says its true? (ever played chinese whispers?) Talk to him but try not to be tense and keep it as casual as you can. Say you have feelings for him and asks how he feels about you, if its a yes then great! otherwise just say that you still want to be friends or something along those lines. Hope it goes well :)
