So as you saw in the title I'm coming out of the closet as Gay. I've told my friends ( who where very supportive) but how do I tell my parents?

That's going to be a difficult answer for anyone who doesn't know you and your family very well.
Do you even **want** to tell them?
You don't say how old you are (not that I've seen anyway)......but maybe you should just see how things go for awhile?
Otherwise......tell us what your family is like.....and what you're feeling in the way of needing/wanting their support......
OK?

My mom was the last to know. Me and my mom are pretty close. we were painting my room and I figured it would be better if she heard it from me. We were talking and I just told her.

If you find the idea of telling them right out as too much, then maybe writing your thoughts on paper and giving it to them might be better. That's what I did. But it's up to you.

Depends how your parents view homosexuality, if you don't know you might want to find that out first. If they don't accept homosexuality, you might want to keep it a secret for a while. I respect anyone who comes out really. It takes real courage. Courage that many, including myself, lack.
