I found out that today (September 23) is Bisexuality Day, which I found out while on wikipedia 4 minutes ago. I know a random date doesn't mean much, but if I knew earlier today or yesterday, I could've given hints to people and come out that way. But nobody knows that today was special in that way..... ugh.
Still, there's October 11, coming out day. I could use it to my advantage, a few ppl must know it's going on, and I can drop hints in, see if I succeed.

i'd just like to know why there is a "day" for it. i mean, is it hard to support bisexuality/coming out/any-and-every-thing 365 days a year?

Tell that to Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, etc.
Things don't actually work out that way.

Just to include some of my own input, I think that it's cool that there's a day dedicated to Bisexuality, but I think it should be recognized 365 days a year.

Oh great, there's a whole DAY for people like me!
Yes, that solves all the problems of being treated like shit the other 364 days of the year or being erased entirely.

Some bi friends had more or less the same reaction and yes a lot more needs to be done than just 24hrs of accepting bisexuality. I suppose it's a start.

I think everything should be recognised every day of the year, but there's no harm in having these certain days that remind you of certain things.
