I would say Jake's right, it depends on the person and your puberty stage. I normally shoot quite far up my chest but when I was just starting I tended to dribble more. And I have mates my age who say they mostly dribble still. If youre shooting sometimes now, I would think you'll start doing it more often as you develop.

It all depends on the person and the progression of puberty. Some people can shoot from a young age, say 11 or 12. Most start to shoot naturally with the progression of puberty, and this could be many years or simply a matter of days. Some people never shoot. It would be impossible to tell whilst dribbling through puberty when or even if you will start to shoot, however most people can shoot by the end of puberty.

Everyone is right, and shooting/dribbling depends on the person. Just like how some people can roll their tongues while others can't, the same is kind of true for shooting because it is something you either can or can't do. It is not like you can teach yourself to shoot.

It depends. I'm 14 as well, and I barely shoot. I only shoot if i haven't jerked for a day, and even then I only shoot an inch or two. But, before a few months ago, I was never able to. So, while it does depend on the person, I think that it does come on as you get farther through puberty.
