I'm feeling really depressed these days and need something to take the pain away. I think I might start harming myself...idk what to do please help!

Don't do it. it isn't worth it. What you need are distractions. Lots of them. Play video games, work out, read, be with friends. though you don't SH already, you should still take a look at this thread (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=190748). some of the methods there can help you fight and resist the urges. Niilo said it all, it's not worth it. In the end it just does worst, plus you can get addicted, then you'll want to cut every single day, whether it was a good day or not. The urges will get a lot stronger and every time something goes wrong you'll want to do it.
Again, distractions are everything, try what Niilo said and all i can think right now is go for a run, you get so tired all you want to do is sleep, and if im not mistaken our body releases the same hormones when you run or self-harm. So go for a run! :) (not sure if they are called hormones)

Self harm won't take the pain away, it never does. In fact it just makes things worse. One of the worst things you can do is believe that self harm will actually help you, in reality it helps short term but long term? No. If you're depressed, I do recommend talking to a professional as to be honest, they can help you with the thoughts and things. But, don't resort to self harm.
