Not sure how it works in the UK, I know in the USA it costs money or insurance pays for it. Its probably the same there. Physicals are good ways to find out whats wrong, its a head to toe inspection on your body.

I've only got "down there" checked once at a school physical, as they arranged for a doctor to spend the day (with lots of appointments). Just get your parents to make an appointment with your doc, and ask them to leave the room when you want any personal bits done The doc will have seen everything before.

If you get your mum to book an appointment you could just go tot the appointment on your own and let mum sit outside. A doctors appointment is free and he will be able to check everything for you

I've had a yearly psychical my entire life and my parents have waited outside for the last couple. The UK has "free" medical coverage as everyone pays into it. But a doctor isn't going to do one on a minor without parental consent.

I've never gotten checked down there for a school physical. The only time that I do is when I got to my doctors for a yearly check-up.

usually your GP would do that - but so much changes with how the whole thing works - so
If you are registered with a GP then call or email the surgery - they all have web sites now.
If you are not registered with a GP practice then find your nearest out of hours clinic they can make and appointment for you -

Hey Callum. You will have a GP so just make an appointment and get down there. Don't worry. If a parent has to go with you then so be it. Just put your mind at rest OK. Alternatively you may have a nurse at school who you can talk to first. They've seen it all before so don't worry.

Any doctor has seen anything you have many times before and they will not be phases so neither should you
