I just have a quick question about some food that I bought yesterday at a college food place..

I bought some Friday's Buffalo Style wings...and I have a regular microwave. The instructions says with a microwave oven to put the setting on "High" and microwave for 3 min, flip, then 3 min again. My microwave has no setting of high and so therefore I'm not sure how long to microwave to make them fully cooked. Can anyone give advice or a quick answer on how long I should microwave them? Would six minutes suffice (6 min, then flip, 6 min again)? I don't want to end up eating the wings when they aren't cooked thoroughly.

(Also, would it be okay if I used paper plates - a few layers - put the chicken wings on? I don't have a regular plate...)

Okay they seemed to taste okay when I microwaved them for 3 minutes, then flipped them, then 3 minutes again, but all of the sudden that isn't working any longer, right now, with a new batch of wings I got. The wings are remaining cold no matter how long I microwave them.

Need an explanation why my wings won't get warm when I microwave them for 6 freaking minutes.

Will anything heat up in the microwave, or is it just the wings that are the problem?

Just the wings

EDIT: Gah, I give up. I did eight minutes. Nothing. I'm going to try to see if it really is the stupid microwave.

What a waste of money and good chicken >_>

Update: it's the stupid microwave. oh great. Now I have to call Mom and get a new one...sigh

Grandparents have an old one...if it says high and you have a low microwave, just add 1-2 minutes to it.

Forgot about this thread...

Well...I already solved my problem after getting the new microwave last month. I just microwave it for 3 min, then flip, then 3 again and it tastes fine. Thanks anyways...
