Name-Changing

Do mods get to change names as many times as they want? I ask this because I notice that Kryptonite/Bacon/Siobhan has changed hers multiple times well before 6 months.

Also, what are the overall terms regarding username changing?

I've been wondering this too, and I'd assume that because she is on staff, she either has the automatic ability to, or can easily get permission to change her name more frequently than most people.
To answer your second question, basically you really can't change it more than every 180 days without getting direct permission from an admin (Mike or Val), and to get that you'd have to have a pretty good reason for changing it again (more than just "I'm bored with my username"). Also, your username (for obvious reasons) can't contain any profanity or sexually explicit words.
Off topic kind of, but from what I've heard, Siobhan (Kryptonite) is currently on her fourteenth name! Kryptonite seems to be her ever-present name though because she keeps falling back to it. Lol

Ive been stuck with mine forever ._. I want to change it, but I also kind of want to have one of those "pair" user names where someone else has one similar to mine :lol:

I'll be honest with you - To an extent, if a mod wants a name change before 6 months, it'll be considered. However, it's one of those things we try and do extremely infrequently, for the sake of knowing the mods and such. A mod can't change more than once every 6 months though the UCP the same way non mods can.
