Can't ignore mods?

Why can't I ignore moderators/admins? There doesn't seem to be all that compelling a reason.

Because why would you need to? If we need to talk to you or if we have a post you need to see, you need to be able to do so. It's absolutely ridiculous to make it so staff members can be ignored.

I get that mods communicate site stuff sometimes, but not seeing a warning and getting punished is risk I would be willing to assume.

Well, if you've got complaints or issues about a staff member, my PM box is always open. :)

However, VT would be an absolute fucking mess if users could just ignore the warnings sent and block the mods. Maybe you could handle it but it ain't gonna happen. You're not forced to read anyone's posts.

The reason moderators can't be ignored is, as mentioned, if they post a warning in a thread or something, you need to be able to see it whether you care about seeing it or not.

Mods need to warn people about breaking rules etc. If everyone ignored the mods, there would be little order here.

If there were an option to ignore mods people could just abuse that option and get away with what they want. I don't see it happening ever.

That's just one thing you'll have to accept for what it is and get on with your life. If it's that much of an issue then simply don't read his posts... Nobody is compelling you to do that, that is your choice.

Doing so would create a problem with every member who ignores warnings and gets punished as a result, not just you. Sorry but we're not going to quadruple our work load because you don't like somebody.
