I am wondering why the 'New Posts' list seems to be showing only the new posts since your last visit recently.
Is it a general change or a setting I changed unintentionally?

It's recent. Pretty sure there was an announcement recently that it makes the website a lot faster.

Yup, what xXPrincessXx said is correct. This (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=190896) should hopefully answer your question some more.

But yeah, the read/unread post thing was turned off because it was making the site lag ridiculously, and it won't be able to come back for a while unfortunately.

Is that why some threads are still bold (marked unread) even though I posted a reply/read them? o_0
