The Amplituhedron: A new way to interpret the quantum world

News from around 2 days ago has said that a new mathematical object has been discovered, the infinite-dimensional geometry of it making theoretical and quantum physics calculations much easier to do, even possible on a sheet of paper, if you know what you're doing. Looks like 4+ dimensional geometry has found another use, though not a practical one (yet).
