So, in your opinion, what makes a good friendship? Im just curious to hear what other people think. What makes someone your best friend?

a good friend-relationship is where you can sincerely talk about anything with that other person and they wont judge you, and they'll do anything they can to help you. And you do the same for them. Trust, care, and loyalty.

Well, there's the elements of harmony as well to consider:
Honesty, kindness, laughter, generosity, loyalty, and magic.

When you value the persons company more than what they can provide for you. Good friends can sit side by side for a whole afternoon without saying a word, yet still agree it was a good time.

If you can accept them as they are - trust them- give and take share an interest and help out.

Trust and respect are the basics, but you also need common interests and chemistry to make everything work out, as well as communication.

a good friend is someone who isnt afraid to act normal around you and you arent afraid to be yourself around them. They accept you and make you laugh.

At the backbone of a good relationship is trust.
Added to that, encouragement and understandings just bring it close to perfection.
Friendship is a psychological relationship where you are freely able to receive and give anything.

I think it's really important that i can be myself around them. I say that I know I'm friends with someone properly if I can be myself, show my real sense of humour and make jokes etc. Also I need to be able to trust/count on them, and they're always there for me to talk to about anything :3

Someone who trusts you, listens to you, helps you, and accepts who you are.

I'm with Hannah. I haven't had any either. Just users.

But I think all of the above is correct. It would take all of those things for me to feel some one was my friend.

I've never had a female friend, so I wouldn't know about that.

But I have 4 friends that I've known my whole life, and what I believe we have is "brotherhood".
