I am unsure if this belongs here, but I could be diagnosed with mild scoliosis. I still have to see a doctor, but from what I've read and what my sister has told me (she is studying anatomy and is not a reliable source) I have a lot of the signs of it (my ribs are pretty messed up and my right hip sticks out more then my left.) anyway, I was wondering if any of you guys have scoliosis and how it has effected your life.

One of my school friends has/had scoliosis. Other than some self-esteem issues it didn't really impact her life too much. She found some of the chairs at school uncomfortable, but that's about it. She never really complained too much about her back being sore or anything and it never stopped her doing any kind of physical activity.
You may have to do some therapy but other than that it shouldn't really impact your life much, especially if it's not doing so at the moment.

My one friend had it, unfortunately it stunted his growth...not by too much as he is 5'9ish, he had to have surgery and didnt go to school for half the year and couldnt play sports for like 2 years

It depends on how severe your case is. Some cases are pretty mild and only need a brace or some therapy to fix, others need surgery.

Given that yours is (likely) mild, it probably won't be too bad. Possibly a brace and/or some physical therapy aught to correct it, however no one here really knows accept for your doctor. Only advice I got for you is to not delay it. It might be a bit scary getting diagnosed, however better now than 2 years from now when it's worse.
