A fisherman is fishing from a bridge and is using a "60-N test line." In other words, the line will sustain a maximum force of 60 N without breaking. What is the weight of the heaviest fish that can be pulled up vertically when the line is reeled in the following situations?

a) constant speed --> answer: 60 N

b) with an acceleration whose magnitude is 2.7 m/sē

I'm stuck on b)...I am completely stumped :/

Wouldn't you add the accelerations of gravity and 2.7 together, then figure F=ma with F=60 A=12.5?
