Well lets just say a day from be feeling sick and going home lead to my mum finding out about my self harm...she didn't shout just talked to me calmly. I want to talk to someone else though cuz I hate hurting her and I know I have, which really makes me sad. She told me to promise never to do it again but I couldn't because to be honest I don't know if I can stop . I want to but I don't know... :/ I feel as if I've let her and my dad down in a big way :'(

Both your parents love you very much and just want the best for you, and that is to stop cutting. I'm sure they'd be more than willing to take you to a professional to talk to about your problems, and they can help you overcome any problems. Trust me, your parents would love it more than anything to see you happy and healthy, and that means doing your best to stop and getting help from someone.

I think your parents care so, so much. And the fact that they didn't shout, but calmly talked to you just further proves that. My mom went ballistic and it just wasn't good.

There are so many people out there for you to talk to and who care, and you've made a fabulous first step coming here. You can talk to a school teacher/counselor or talk to your mom about seeing a therapist or anyone. Any adult is a fine idea. There's no shame in talking to someone.

You have not let your parents down, they love you so very much still. Best of luck to you. x
