Well i still wanna be skinny and never wanna really be fat but before i use to weigh under 8 stone and i am 17 and am 5"6-5"8, Not to sure on height but i know it is in between that haha
Anywho, I don't really eat much it is like what my mum said, I eat in small portions but frequently, And i know it may seem like an obvious answer "Just eat!" But i don't ever have the biggest appetite, I am a tad bit of a fussy eater and usually no matter how much i eat i just never seem to put on weight!
But it has gotten to the point now where trousers that fit my waist perfectly i need to wear a belt for! And i just do not wanna be come overly skinny, So do people know how i could put on weight without the stupidly obvious answer?
I know i have to eat but because of me not eating big portions at all and being fussy and not being capable of putting weight on it is rather difficult....

Yeah it might just be your metabolism, mine's the same. I can't put on weight but I eat quite a lot for someone my size. Your metabolism might start to slow down now cos your near or at the end of puberty.
I'm only 5 1/2 stone, but that's pretty normal for my height. I don't really look that skinny.

Basically space out the eating, and try to exercise. Exerciser sometimes gains weight, due to the building of muscles.

you could make it easier for us to help if you would actually write down what you eat and how much.
i just think it's funny that in every thread like this people say the person has high metabolisim even though they have no idea what the person eats.
i've talked to guys who eat 1500 kcal a day and think they eat allot and they can't gain weight.
myself i need to eat 3500ish kcal a day just to maintain my weight

>Eat bigger meals less often, to slow down your metabolism.
>Eat the proteiny stuff :v
Idk, but the first point is legit!

You want to gain your weight you should eat more dairy products, fish and meat over bread. Choose more protein food like eggs, fruits and vegetables.
•You should be eating at least 2,000 calories everyday...
•Spreading delicious calorie-rich toppings on toast, pitas, and any other carbohydrate source is an excellent way to increase caloric intake. Some good high-calorie spreads are olive oil, cream cheese, butter, nut butters, cheese slices, and mayonnaise. Mix these with frayed meats like chicken or fish.

And that is impossible for me to write down, I never eat the same things a day, But usually i might eat a ham sandwich with butter and white bread, A packet of crisps, A chocolate bar, Some biscuits, And dinner which is let say maybe just 3 small chicken strips and a small portion of curly fries, I just don't eat much and can't eat in large portions!

This is where mental things come into play.
If you try to lose weight, you put your meal on a larger plate. This makes you think that you're eating more because the plate looks crammed.
So if you want to eat more, put it on a smaller plate because the food will seem like a smaller portion.

You can't put on weight without training! Eat more, but go to the gym each day for at least an hour and train as much different parts of your body as possible in a single workout. After months, your body will adapt and you will start gaining mass! You have to keep going and wait for the results, but trust me, it's worth it. :D

There are some foods that you could add to your diet that are very high in calories yet don't fill you, f.e a tsp of olive oil is about 120 calories i think, peanut butter and whole milk (try mixing it with nesquik if you don't like it) are also good for putting on weight... just these three things would add hundreds of calories to your diet.
Example:
1 tsp olive oil (ca 120 calories) +
500 ml Whole milk (ca 300 calories)+
1 tsp peanut butter (ca 95 calories) = approximately 515 calories
