Not really noticing songs until they have been out a while.

I've noticed lately that I will download heaps of music listen to it all but I don't really get that in to them until I re-listen to them like a month later. For instance, I have had Lorde, HAIM and Austra's albums for ages but I only noticed how good they are until the other day. Haha, so I was just wondering if other people are like this or do you just fall in love with a song straight away?

There's been plenty of times when a song catches on with me and it's already been out for a while. I'm like why didn't I notice how good of a song this was when it came out? I'm guessing I was probably distracted before and it was just background music.
