Does anyone have difficulty buying the right size of clothes? XS, S, M, L or XL means nothing. If they said a chest or waist measurement on the label it would be so much easier. Anyone agree or have any handy hints?

Most jeans are done in waist size in the UK..

Yes, I hate buying clothes. I'm really self conscious about my weight, and I might buy a pair of size four jean, or a size nine, depending on the store and make of the dang jeans.

The only tip I can give you is try everything on before you buy it.

a lot of shirts an pants an shoes r made in other countries. i think they sew things
based on their measurements. i cant get a good fit with jeans. they bunch up at the bottom.

The problem of denominating shirts "M" or "L" is that the M of one country is different from the M of another country, for example the latin american M is smaller than the gringo M, because the average gringo is fatter.

I have normally purchased an XL size shirt and never face any difficulty in wearing it, the size fits me everytime. But if I talk about dress pant that creates problem sometimes. May be due to different brand there is bit change in the size.

You really have to try stuff on. There's plenty of times when I'll pick out say ten pairs of pants that all have the same measurement listed on the label and stickers, and five out of those ten will be too loose, too tight, too short or too long.

thats an issue well known for us - so much stuff made abroad and sizing is all out.

My bro who is 18 has bought shirts that fit me.

best thing I can think of is if you shop online to check the returns info first b4 you buy.

4'6" :c

In shirts, tops and underwear i'm a boys medium, and I need a 23/24" waist and leg length in jeans. It's so hard finding things in my size that aren't made for 8 year olds. It sucks being tiny :c
