Active Shooter in DC Navy Yard

There is an active shooter in the Washington DC US Navy Yard. At least 10 people have been shot, including a security guard and 2 DC Police officers, and the shooter has now barricaded himself inside a building in the facility, reports WRC-TV (NBC affiliate) of Washington. The shooter is said to have a rifle and possibly a shotgun on him.

Got the text message from IPN about it at school today. Still have to read about it, havent had a chance. All that the text message said, is that it was an active shooter in a millitary area, w/ multiple fatalities. Reading about it now.

Its not the gun, its the person. Crazy control is what we need. Why do people immediately blame guns? And DC along with Chicago and Detroit have the "Strongest" gun control in America. Doesnt work on a criminal does it? Since when has a criminal followed laws?
