I really don't know what is happening to me lately. I feel like... I'm 2 different people (Dont know wheather this should be in the Schizo forum but please move it if it isnt :)) Its like when I am alone... I am me and I can feel what I, as in ME feels. But when I'm around other people its like... I'm a totally different person and I have different feelings, thoughts, beleifs. It's like MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) but I'm not 100% sure if it is. Cause I have strange blackouts where I will become unconcious then I will wake up a whole different person. I am so many different people... Sometimes 1, or 2, or 5, or 50, or 100. I just dont know who I am any more. Please help.:confused:

I sometimes feel like there's a different person inside of me too. It could be MPD, I'm not sure either because I haven't been diagnosed for my problems yet, I have to wait 'till tuesday for that. Do you ever hear voices or have any other hallucinations?

Schizophrenia --> Mental Illnesses

Anyway I would get it checked out by a professional if you are worried about it. What particularly is a point of concern for me at least is blacking out, are you in control at all?

Golly, as always I agree with our Michael here. Blacking out is never a good sign and should be checked out by a doc. Do your folks know about this? If not, please tell them.

Everyone has times when they;'re unsure of themselves, or who they are, or what they're believing. But, it's usually temporary, it passes, and there's always this stable sense of who we are, even when we doubt ourselves.

And as an FYI, schizphrenia is NOT a 'split personality' the 'split' is with reality, there's a psychotic state that is always associated with it. Schizpohrenia affects amaybe 5% of the population (even less in teens), so the chances of you having it are small. Likewise, multiple [ersonality disorder is quite rare, too.

But, whatever is going on with you might be troubling enough to justify a look see by a doc. Tell your folks, OK?

My parents and people do know about it and they are going to check me into the docs just to check it out and find out what it ACCUALLY is. Oh and thesphinx, do you mean in controll of my 'Other self' or the blackouts? The blackouts - No.
The 'Other me' Yes.

:) Glad to hear you're going to see a doctor. Those blackouts could be caused by a number of different things. Let us know how the appointment goes.
