well it depends, some people are shy about there sexuality and do not give any hints, I say that the only way to really tell there sexuality is if they tell you.

Well I don't want to be stereotypical, but my school is like based on the visual and performing arts (so it's an artsy school). If there's a gay guy, you can tell EASILY if he's gay here! Just by the way they act and everything (you know what I mean), there are not "closet" gay people at my school, if they are gay you'll sure as hell know it. Like my school even has a club called the Gay-Straight Alliance. I don't exactly know why they have it... no straight people really go to it. I think that it's real purpose is exactly for fixing the problem of not being able to find another gay guy or girl to have a relationship with. Like it's a meeting place for them since it can be really hard just looking everywhere in the school you know :yeah:

At my school and other schools I know of with a GSA, many straight people do go. Usually they're friends of the gay members showing support, or they may only be pretending to be straight. The whole point of GSA is to make sure that segregation doesn't occur between gay and straight. Most gay people have friends who are straight, and a good portion of straight people have friends who are gay, but at my old school it was actually like the gay/les/bi kids were in their own separate group. They got picked on (not because they were gay, because a lot of them were a bit strange, not that thats an excuse for bullying), and it was good to have the GSA so the straight kids could see that hey, they're not so different after all, even though this chick wore a tux to Homecoming and this guy has a shirt that says "I like boys" on it. They're still people. Yes, a gay kid might meet another gay kid to have a relationship with there, but that's not the point at all. It's meant to be like a support group. And that's my view on the topic.

As said, most people, esp. teenagers can be quite shy about their sexuality. It would probably be quite hard to notice (if someone was gay/bi), unless they were openly so, and even then you can never be too sure.

Unless you have the 'new and improved' version of the highly effective and efficient, realtime gaydar 7.0.... then I completely agree with the above statement. :P
