UPDATE: I just got my period. Fml.
So for over a year now I have gotten my period regularly. Every month between the 1st day of the month to maybe the 5th or 6th. Last month it was late and came around the 10th and was really light and painless, and just all around weird. This month I still haven't gotten it. I started PMSing like normal at the last week of August but a few days ago it went away, my acne went down, stuff like that. So I'm wondering, what are the chances of me getting my period this month? I'm NOT pregnant so don't suggest that, I'm a virgin and never even seen a guy naked, and I like girls so why would I get with a guy?
Thanks.

When you're young, periods do take a while to settle down into a regular pattern. You will probably get your period, but it won't be until the end of the month. At the moment you're really irregular and you'll experience this, it's normal. Hell, I still get irregular periods. If you know you're not pregnant you have nothing to worry about, it'll come when it comes. When you first start having periods, it is normal for them to be irregular. It usually takes two years for them to become regular and for some people it is much longer. This is because at the beginning the time to ovulation varies and sometimes you might not ovulate at all. It's annoying but yeah, hope this helps.

Thanks Siobhan- It has been just about a year and a half since my first period (easy to remember, it was my sister's birthday) and regular most of the time (almost every month on the 1st, but like I said before it can vary a bit) so I was hoping I would continue to be regular. I'm glad I'm not on it now, rather it's the anxiety "Should I wear a pad just in case? What if I do get it and I don't wear one?" Oh well.

The first 2 years you have your period it usually regulating and should be normal by the end of the second year. Your menstrual cycle isn't supposed to come around the same time every month exactly. Your menstrual cycle runs on a 28 day clock, when you start your period that is the first of the 28 days, your next period should start 28 days from the first day of your period.

Thank you! I've actually got my period now, (got it same day I posted this, of course) and it's starting to slow down.
