Wearing a clip on tail

I wear a tail when I get the chance to, it's about 15" and it clips onto my back belt loop. I cover up the chain with the bottom of my shirt to make it look like it's an actual tail coming from my spine area. I'm always on the lookout for larger, fluffier tails that fit my interest of wolves and furries.

So my question to you guys is:

What are your thoughts on wearing tails and items that make you stand out from the crowd?

Okay, like everything else, I want to say that if it makes you happy, then that's great and you should do it. But, the clip on tails and furry ears piss me the fuck off. I don't even know why, I mean I look like a freak show, I have no room to talk, but that is literally like the only thing that I just...no.

I personally would never wear a tail, but in some instances such as cosplay I could see it being deemed as acceptable

I thought they were cool in 7th grade, but then I grew up and realized they were better suited for little kids. It ain't cute anymore.
