I was wondering, while many people would never admit it, let's face it, we have all masturbated although many do not do it, whether by choice, guilt, or lack of interest which is fair and at times is the person.

So, to you, what do you think of masturbation?
Is it okay to you or healthy? Is it something you think continues into adulthood or only hormonal?

How does your family feel about it?
Ever felt guilty about masturbation? Is the "M" word in your household?

My views on masturbation:
I see it as normal and pleasurable.
My household sees it as a teenage thing and detestable and downright sinful to do regardless of age. They know I do it and want me to stop? Will I? Not by a long shot.

I haven't ever asked my family what they think about it because it's more of a private thing. I'm fine with it, I do it, but I don't care to know if my family does it.

I see it was a normal/healthy thing, never 'asked' my family but my mom basically ended up telling me she saw it the same way when she's apologized for walking in on me one night. It's not really something my family is 'open' about but my sister and I discuss it with one another (out of earshot obviously), and obviously my parents tolerate it, so I don't need much more.

Personally I find it normal, but I would never talk to anyone in my family about it besides my sister. My parents aren't exactly very sexual. I don't think they would like me doing it, at least not my dad.
