i think tou should have a chat room for new members with some friendly older members to help then get used to chatting its hard to talk with the older members because they seen to know echouther and you dont know what to say i think think this would make the chat rooms more popular

the little chat room thingy we have here doesn't get used a lot and i don't think another would really work. you get to know people by posting in different forums and just generally talking to people. as cody said thats what he did and thats what i did too, and its worked. it just takes some time to get to know people.

There are way too many problems with that idea.. but be aware you can create your own section in the chat room when you're in there, so if you would like to create your own little section in the already existing chat room, I believe you can do that. (Not 100% sure though)

Well we do have a chatroom, although it isn't the most popular at the moment. However maybe we can do something to fix that this year. But if you need any help or anything like that just need to ask. We are a friendly bunch here. As always you can drop me a PM if you need any assistance at all.

Well that's pretty much how it is for all new people in any situation, virtual or real life. You just have to dive in, really. And VT has a very friendly community as you can see so I think it's pretty easy to work your way into the flow of things.

Just go under the Current active users under the shoutbox and you'll see something that says "There are no users in the chat room"

Then next to it there is a hyper-link click on that and it takes you to chat :)
