periods of not being turned on...

i'm just putting this question out there to see what you all think. i haven't felt turned on really for a while now. i have had issues in my life especially in the last few weeks, but i haven't really had that sexual desire there. i haven't really felt the need to masturbate much, and i generally don't feel turned on much at all. i could probably count on my hands the number of times i've masturbated in the last 2 months. so what i want to know is if any of you guys have had extended periods where you haven't had a desire to masturbate, or do other sexual stuff?

yeah man, like you said you have been having some issues in your life and other things like stress definitely demotivate you sexually.
the same thing happened to me, but thats because i was depressed and it really just made me not want to do anything to myself or with anyone else.
i think that when your problems start to settle down and you are back to normal everything else will fall back into place.

whenever ive got exams or deadlines or stress for whatever reasons i lose all urges for a while until the pressure goes

I suuppose you're reminding us, Stephen, that it's our heads that turns us on the most. If we're stressed, preoccupied, or otherwise uptight, we aren't as easily aroused. Likewise, when we're relaxed and feeling confident, it comes easier (LOL!). So, if you're not into it, it's a good signal that you're probably stressed about something and you might want to address that. When you do and resolve whatever it is, it'll be back.
