View Full Version : I Could Be Bi, or Gay, or Curious. I'm Not Sure

Okay so first I am going to tell you how I feel about both sexes. And that I still don't know what I am. But I know this community is very helpful and will try to help me :).
First for girls. I think of girls as in best friend ways, not girlfriend ways if you know what I mean. I would go out with one, I can see myself with one in the future. But it would be a better and healthier relationship if it was just really good friends, because I know they can be a little bit more understanding than boys. (no offense guys;))
As a sexual desire for girls, I virtually have none. I have watched lesbian porn, straight porn while only looking at the girl. (when I ended up looking at the guy anyways). I have about a 5% sexual attraction to girls compared to it with boys. If I see an attractive girl at the beach, or at school, it's barely a twinge of desire then it goes away.
Emotional for boys. This one is a bit complicated. I used to never see myself with a boyfriend. Ever. And I think that this was partially due to the fact that my Catholic and conservative family implanted the ideas of homosexuality isn't good. But now that I am In a bigger city and I am realized more and more emotional feelings for guys and homosexuality is more accepted. Now I can see myself with a boy but it is much more happy then I ever saw myself with a girl. And I kind of want to be in a relationship with a boy.
Now for my sexual feelings for boys. They're the other 95% I am very physically and sexually attracted to boys. Whenever I see a really hot boy in the hallway. Well that sentence basically explained itself. No straight dude would say. Whenever I see a really hot dude.
And believe me. I see a lot of SMOKING hot boys and my horny mind starts going crazy. I just.. Want them. Like straight guys want a girl.

So yeah. I'll keep this thread updated, cut if any of you could help me out. Even the littlest bit would mean a lot.

Last but least, please no hate on this post like "your gay, it's wrong you f*g" you'll get reported.
Thanks.

I don't see many long posts :)

Your feelings and emotions do not necessarily go in accord with your logic, thoughts and reason. You may think you are straight but curious, but if you are having a 95% attraction towards guys, and you have been having it for a while, then chances are you are close to being gay, but bisexual. Not straight.

If you are worrying that what you identify yourself as sexually is going to sort of "lock" it for the rest of your life, don't. The thoughts you have will not have much of an impact on your feelings and emotions, except for controlling how you express them.

Making sure and maintaining a balance between your thoughts and feelings is very helpful for understanding and getting on with yourself. By what you've said here it's clear that you know what feelings and emotions are present, and you are unsure of what to think about it or reason with it. The worst thing is to deny what you are. As RayWilliamJohnson said in one of his RunawayThoughts videos with homosexuality: " Worse than hiding it from others is hiding it from yourself".

Find some way of accepting what you are. It might not be easy, but you'll have cleared a stage in your life if you do.

Hope this helps! :)

It does! Thanks for replying so quickly. I think it's one of those things where in another post 99%gay and 1% straight but still bisexual. That's going to be one of those where deep down, I know I am. But I don't want to accept it on the outside

Relax, go with the flow. Some of us are never sure. Hell, I keep changing all the time. All I know is I love boobs more than anything in the world. :P

Date a guy if you want to! If in the future you want to date a girl, do so! It's all good. No one's going to hold a gun to your head until you label yourself.

If you want guys, you should be with a guy. You're clearly not just curious. So be safe and try going out with a guy. Then i think you'll have a better understanding of where you fit.

I see why you may be feeling confused. I think you should maybe try to experience dating guys and girls up to a point where you feel comfortable; only then will you know what you prefer. Its no use to try and label yourself as your sexual preference could always change again in the future. As long as you can learn to accept yourself, the world will accept you to.
