Which would burn more calories? 2 hours of lap swim or a 30 minute home workout such as the 90 Day Warrior Workout Routine or the 30 Day Teenage Weight Loss Program by HASfit?

It seems like with highschool, I have very limited time to do anything.

As a former competitive swimmer myself I can definitely say swimming burn many times more calories than most other cardio activities like running because you are using all of your muscles. I would recommend swimming. I have been to four junior olympics and I was IN LOVE with the sport for ten years. It wil be an amazing expierence to make new friends and stay physically fit. You wouldn't regret it

I was told at the doctors you'd have to do a lot more swimming to get anything from it than other typical cardio things, although if you enjoy swimming you're better off picking up something you enjoy.

This isn't really about anything school related.

Whichever you enjoy more is the one you should go with. But I think the one that will make your body leaner and you more sporty would be swimming.

Swimming is one of the most complete things you can do, there is no comparison for me.

Swimming I used to run and workout and do karate all the time, but since I've added swimming to my routine I have gained muscle faster than I ever have before, I would suggest combining the two (land and water workouts) for the best results and all around conditioning. Make sure you push your self during both workouts or you won't get what you desire out of eather of them and remember you only get out what you put in to a workout.
