I'm not just joking. I mean, I'm joking about the languages. What I mean is there's only one way to tell her. You don't have to hire a plane to write it in the sky. Of course, the common sense comes in too. Not via text, Facebook, a friend, etc. and on her own time not when she's extremely busy or irritable.

Obviously don't creep her out, but from experience what helps best is opening up, get to the point, and take a deep breath. I've done this twice, when I told my best friend with just the intent of getting it off my chest and then when I told my girlfriend who was then a very close friend. First one was via e-mail but she lives in my hometown still sooooo. Basically I told her straightforwardly, then told her the extent of how much I cared for her. In this case I didn't want a relationship so I explained why I wanted to tell her, that the reason I wanted to tell her was because she means so much to me, that I wanted to be able to freely let her know how much she could and did mean to people.

Girlfriend was of course in person and on a high from the courage of advice my cousin gave me ("tell her exactly what you told me, and at the least she'll be flattered"). I pretty much spilled my guts. Worked beautifully.

Dont yell after her or do something that would just embaress yourself, you need to be cool about it if you want a chance to succed.. Anyway i dont see what a 13 year old would want with a girl, but okay..
