You see that green smiley face? That shit is a lie, today sucked.

First off, I have most of my classes with people I don't know, so I have nobody to talk to. Which makes me nervous. Which makes me less social. Which prevents me from making friends. It's like loner-ception.

Second, my teachers are very questionable. Most of them are fine, but others I'm worried how my year will turn out.

And last but not freaking least, AP and honors classes. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

So yeah, fun.

ALL LIES
Now being serious, here are a couple of tips.
Try do get unobserved, so to speak, sorry for bad english, we have a saying here, is something like "Try to move between the rain drops". Dont know how you HS is in there, but dont seat in the front nor in the back, in the middle is just fine.

Just take it slow. I was new to my district when I started HS, so I didn't know anybody in my whole school, forget just the classes. It took me until about December to really have a few solid friendships, but from there, it only continued to get much better. I know it feels like shit sitting there in class not knowing anybody - I was there. Just try to be kind of active in class, and just join in some random side conversations, that's always a good place to start.

Also, the first week of high school in general is awkward even for 10th (and probably 11th) graders as they too are having classes where they don't know people, but it'll be fine, it's just hard to see right now.

I feel ya. Last year, I spent my first two days of school completely alone. It wasnt until I got the courage to lamely ask one of my classmates if I could sit with her at lunch because I didn't know anyone that I started to make friends. You'll eventually start talking to people, don't worry :)

I started the school year in a new district. It is so hard. I am slowly making friends though and I know it will get better. I am Incan advanced program too. Just got to see if later in the year the positives outweigh the negatives

Just keep your head up, and never show any sort of weakness. If someone hurts you, if you are falling apart, anything, put on a smile and then break down at home. There are too many people who will attack if they know you're down. Make friends, have fun, but don't get too personal with anyone until you know their true colours. If they are a dick to everyone else, they'll be like that to you. Don't get caught up in drama, laugh it all off. Try to be a friend, or at least a non-enemy, to everyone. Keep your grades up, graduate with honors, walk through the front door saying, Fuck you bitches. (: You'll be fine.

Good luck. High school isn't so bad once you get used to it

I was going to say that high school is shit and it will be the worst four years of your life, but you beat me to it.

First off, you're weak then.

Second, make an effort to make your year better even without being spoon-fed by the teachers.

And last but not freaking least, AP and honors classes. You'll love them. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

XD XD XD

Kidding aside, Myles, chillax.

1. Sooner or later you will be able to have friends. There is no place for you to fit in. You always have to get along.
2. It does not always depend on your teacher. If you think some of your teachers are that questionable, make an effort for yourself.
3. Why you not love them... D: T_T

Good luck, Myles!

By the way, I like your name. Whyyyyyy.... I want that name. T_T

don't worry about it, i had the exact same problem except i went to an all girl school where i knew no one literally no one. You'll make friends in class, don't worry. You'll be just fine

GOOD LUCK

My advice isn't sunshine filled, but it's realistic. There will be classes where you'll make friends. Sometimes people are friendly and will talk to you or you'll talk to them. There will also be a few classes where you won't make friends, maybe not even acquaintances. It sucks when that happens; being the awkward kid who has to go to the teacher to find them a partner to work with because no one chose you. However, it's a part of life. You'll make it through (I've done it a few times before). Maybe you'll grow t like your classes and maybe you won't. You won't get anywhere looking at things with such a pessimistic attitude though; no one will want to talk to you. If things don't work out, there's always the internet. Just hang in there and try your best to deal with things as they come.
