View Full Version : Serious Uncircumcized / Foreskin Question

Hi,
I'm 19 years old and I've got a serious question regarding my uncircumcized penis and foreskin.
Basically, I haven't actually realized this until I started to mess around with another guy for the very first time. We're both bi and he said he wanted to give me a blowjob. When he started to suck on my dick, I was in so much pain. I told him to stop because it was hurting so bad!
He was retracting my foreskin as he was sucking, and that caused extreme pain.
He asked me if my foreskin could retract all the way and I said no, it can't. He told me I should be retracting it when I was a little kid and "stretch" it out but I haven't been told that so I didn't know. I knew my foreskin doesn't retract all the way, but I didn't know it was much of a problem. It seems like it's a problem during sexual intercourse / oral sex now. How can I fix this?
When my penis is flaccid, you almost can't even see the head of my penis. It's shrivaled up and disgusting. Some people refer to it as an "anteater" I think, lol. It's embarassing. :(
When my penis is erect, you can actually see the head, but the foreskin is really tight (not lose at all). I can retract it only a little bit, the slit of my penis is shown and a little bit more (I think it's called the glans? I'm not sure though.) I think the frenulum which is the attachment of the foreskin to glans (I think) is visible when I'm erect. I think this is partly what causes me to not be able to retract my foreskin all the way back. Is this true?
Sorry for the long read, but I'm really worried about this. I want to know what I should do. Should I talk to a doctor? How do I approach a doctor? I've had a pediacrician up till I was 18 years old.and then they switched me to an adult doctor. It's kind of embarassing to ask this kind of thing.
Also, another thing that just popped up in my head is when I masturbate, I think I'm completely doing it the "wrong way". I'm so worried since I've been doing it this way since I first discovered masturbating. Actually I don't even know how I discovered it, never had anyone to talk to or experiemnent with, just kind of did things on my own. I really didn't know what cut/uncut was and all the pics on internet were of cut penis so I thought since mine didn't look like those, mine was "weird".
Well what I do is I grab my penis and rub the foreskin up and it covers my head. I rub it back and forth but rarely retracts it back. I mainly do it going up and when it covers the head, it stimulates it and I cum reaaaaaaallly fast. ut I edge doing it a lot. And when I masturbate this way, I can really see my head shrivaeling up. It's weird and I don't think this is normal / the way I'm supposed to be doing it.
I don't know, all these confusing thoughts and I don't know who to discuss it with so I just post on here.
Sorry .. I hope I'm allowed to post this because I really want to know how to resolve these issues. =/ Thanks.

Don't speak if you don't know what you are talking about.... "attached to the head"? Come on...
I had the same problem as you, and i had to go for a frenectomy, which is the removal of the frenulum. The operation lasts 5 minutes and the following day you already start to recover pretty fast.
Don't be shy, contact an urologist, and he will diagnose your problem in 30 seconds. Believe me, i was embarrassed at first, but the moment you go there, it's all pretty natural. They see tens of penises a day and they really don't care.
My doctor was even a hot girl ! :P

I would do exactly this if I was you. Don't be afraid of the doctors! If you don't go now, it will get even worse and you will really regret it in the future if you don't go now!

First, you can masturbate any way you want, there's no "right" way to do it, whatever feels best is fine.
Second, yes, you should be able to retract by now. The nasty little foreskin secret no one ever talks about is that retraction is a major problem: 50% of all 16 y/o's cannot retract and that is because no one ever told them to, like in the shower when you wash, and when you urinate. As a result, as the penis grows, it can't fit through the frenular band at the tip of the 'skin. The sarcasm results from a failure of the adults to inform about something as basic (and important) as retraction from an early age. This is a basic men's health issue!
At 19 you have to see a doctor and let him examine you, there are 2 reasons for your problem: One is just general tightness (typically of that frenular band), or frenulum breve, where the frenulum (The drawstring under the foreskin that attaches it to the penis) is too short and restricts retraction. There are a few treatments available to resolve these issues, but you have to get to a doctor.
Do NOT try to accomplish a fix here yourself, you're likely to rip or tear something and have a real emergency on your hands.

When I had a foreskin I could retract it up until I was circumcised at 13. By 19 you certainly should be able to completely pull it all the way back. I would say you need to see a doctor soon. If he recommends you be circumcised, don't sweet it. It was no big deal and I really like the results. It would be a guaranteed fix once and for all. If some of your pain is a too sensitive head being cut will fix that too.

Okay, I'll just say it. I've never pulled back my foreskin in my life.
When the doctors tried, I nearly had a heart attack.
I know the feeling. I've never came before (I know, quite odd) so I'm scared of what would happen if I did.

Yeah, go see your doctor, it doesn't mean you need to be circumcised, just get it fixed like the other guy did, you'll be fine...

I read something about this problem somewhere and all that was needed was a prescription cream.

I read something about this problem somewhere and all that was needed was a prescription cream. I just looked it up and the condition is called Phimosos. And the cream is:
image (http://phimosis.com.au/images/phimosis-treatment-adults.jpg)
Ezra, phimosis is when the foreskin cannot be retracted when soft, too. A doc might prescribe a steroidal cream to reduce inflammation, along with other possible treatments depending on his exam.
As I said to the OP, at 19 I would absolutely not try any treatments at home, including the one you've helpfully provided here....the risk of injury is too great.

I think seeing a doctor would be a good idea - I know difficult but I am sure any doctor has seen lots of dicks in thier time and would wish to help.better sooner than later.

At 19 your foreskin should totally be loose and be able to go back and forth without any problem. The fact that sex hurts and that your foreskin is tight means that you have an issue. Definitely make your way to a regular doctor first, and if you need more treatment, then you might be send on to a urologist. There is this steroid cream/ointment that they give out first that might solve your problem. If things are seriously bad, then you might need to get a small procedure down there. The procedure is not awful, and the guy above is right that the recovery time is pretty quick.
There is no right or wrong way to masturbate. As long as masturbating does not hurt or puts stress on your body, then you're fine.

Well I'm surprised you didn't realise the problem sooner but okay, you should go and see a doctor, I don't get why everyone had to stretch it out, it's always been natural for me but go to the doctor and they will advise you on it, just tell them exactly what you said here and they will help you out
