So I've been trying to upgrade my Samsung T-Mobile Exhibit 2 (running Gingerbread 2.3.6) via Samsung Kies that I downloaded to my computer. It connects fine, loads, and does something relating to a binary files (I have no clue what this all means, haha) and then freezes at 100%. My phone then goes into Download mode (with the little Android thingy that says "Do not turn off target"). Then my computer gives me a message that says my device malfunctioned and windows could not read it. After a long while of waiting Kies gives me a message saying "Failed to convert to upgrade mode. Try later".
I've done this numerous times with no success.
I was just curious as to if anyone had a solution to this problem. :) Thanks!
