So I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem but I'm still in the phase of a teen life where I'm still looking for what I fit into but one thing that bothers me is my hair is greasy if I don't wash it for a day. But when I wash it at night, in the morning it is really fluffy and modelable. But recently it's started to come immune to my hair modeling gels.
The products I use are mainly glues and sculpting gel. Ex. Got2bGlued, Axe Spike style, etc.
So I was looking for some advice from someone who has had this problem or knows how to solve it so I can keep it up throughout the say with my hairstyles I choose.
For extra details, my hair usually grows out fast but right now it's a very short length. I tend to throw my hair around a lot throughout the month for different styles as I have yet to find "my style". I use Head and Shoulders shampoo by the way.
Any advice as to keep it up?

I'm expert making mohawks. Need nothing just backcombing and strong hairspray :p

Well, I'm a girl, but have short hair that tends to get icky fairly quickly.
When hair gets greasy, it gets flat and droopy. Use some baby powder in your hair as it helps keep it fuller, fluffier, and less greasy. (just sprinkle some near your roots and with your fingers, massage it through your scalp)
Could it maybe be the heat that is causing your gels and products not to work at this time of year?
(Oh and contrary to what you may think, but the more you wash your hair, the quicker it gets greasy. When you wash it, you strip your hair of essential oils and your body works to restore those natural oils, leading to greasy hair. So try not to wash it more than once a day if you can.)

My hair also gets really greasy if I don't wash it, so I just try to daily. I've also heard baby powder works great, but I haven't tried it. If I can't wash it I'd just throw it in a side pony or something that will make it less noticeable.

You can spray a hair primer on it when you get out of the shower before you style and brush it. You can play around with different brands and see how they work for you, at a salon or something you can maybe get a hairdresser to recommend one.

Thanks for all the tips; I've been inactive over the week due to school so now I'm checking all these out and going into research on it. It's just really hard to keep my hair in place as it slowly deflates over the day.

Sounds like my hair too
I change my style all the time, but a good shampoo helps. If you're trying to "mold" it into place, I like to use a hairdryer to "dry" it in place. Find one that blows ionized air so it doesn't dry up or damage your hair.
I use a Moroccan argan/hazelnut oil fiber paste that's awesome in my hair, which is naturally oily and straight. I have control paste for longer days or if I'm going outside and need the extra hold.

Before I got more into hair products, I just used whatever Axe product was around and attempted to style my hair. It usually fell flat in about an hour.
Now, I use an organic shampoo called Natures Gate. Leaves my hair super soft.
After a shower, I straighten my hair then rub a bit of Axe Spiked Up Look hair putty onto the top of it. Then I use Axe Clean Cut Pomade and run it through my hair while styling it. Afterwards, I spray my hair with high holding hair spray, then basically mess up my hair with a towel. For the final step, I restyle my hair with just my fingers and spray more hair spray onto my hair. Looks perfect for the rest of the day.

Is your hair particularly thick and/or curly?
Just realized this is from a few months ago.
