It can be seen as trashy sure, it just depends on who you ask. For me it depends, if the girl looks trashy and she smokes, then it's trashy. If she looks like she takes pride in how she looks, then It doesn't look trashy.

I'd prefer someone who didn't smoke though.

The place where I come from, smoking among girls are a bit rare. I mean as a teen. So if people sees a young girl smoking, she'd be called trashy for sure. Doesn't matter how she looks or smell, as long as she smokes - trashy.

I don't really care, if you want to smoke you're going to smoke. I do smoke, I don't smoke weed on a constant basis so there's that. I do smoke cigarettes and I don't really care if I'm viewed as trashy, I took the decision to smoke so. I have female friends who smoke, they don't look trashy, but we all have different opinions. Even if I didn't smoke myself, people to me would still not look any different and I wouldn't judge them for smoking whatever they choose to smoke.

I used to have to hide it from my parents, but I'm 18 now, legally an adult and while they might hate that I smoke they can't really stop me. I have had massive fights with my parents over smoking but now I don't get any fights. But, I don't think any parent really approves of their child smoking. :P

Smoking isn't the best of habits to develop, but I don't see how it would affect a person's character. Unless, they're smoking crack or an illegal drug (except for weed), then it's off putting.

I find that people who smoke a big turn off, especially people who are underaged, because they are USUALLY, rebellious, low life's (just where I live).

I'm fine being friends with people who smoke, because it doesn't affect personality, just as long as they don't blow smoke rings down my throat, (not that many of them smoke).

In Australia smoking is almost "socially taboo", not many people smoke, and smoking is banned in most areas.

I would never live or be in a relationship with someone that smokes a lot, nor would I have children with them, the health risk are to high.

Personally, i can't stand people who smoke. Ill still be friends with them, but secretly cant stand it. One of the most unhealthy things you can do, turns your lungs black, kills you faster. Im glad they banned it here in all public places.

I smoked for over a year. Not that long but I encountered numerous throat infections and issues so now anyone who smokes would be a turn off. I can't sit in the same room as my dad when he's smoking because it irritates my throat so much.

So I suppose it's not really the action it's self that's the turn off, that doesn't bother me at all. It's the fact my health won't stand it.

It used to bug me more than it does now. It's really just a thing now that I can tolerate it. I'd lie if I said I've never smoked before but I don't do it often, never did, and I tend to just hang around people who do more than I do it myself, out of personal preference.

Soooo hot. I can't help it. I find a lot of female smokers really attractive.

My girlfriend is a health nut, vegan, gluten-free, etc though, and she has encouraged me to be better about my own smoking as well as my diet. So I've switched to vaping. I miss the smell so much though.

I'm in the process of quitting after probably about 2 years of it on and off, I don't have any issues with it but my boyfriend hates it and my mind plays tricks on me for doing it so I'm just packing it in. I don't have anything against people who smoke, but I certainly advice anyone against starting it, frankly it is a disgusting habit.

I smoke cigars. Yes, yes you could call me a pimp. Actually, I'm uncertain whether to call then cigars or cigarillos -- they're Black & Milds. I don't think smoking is trashy. I smoke a few times a week, brush my teeth afterwards so my mouth isn't an ashtray and it's something I could easily stop. It calms my nerves really, really well. I think there are worse things I could do and I hardly even do much of it, so it doesn't bother me. I think some people that chain smoke and smoke around children, public places, just breathing out that shizz like some smoke-breathing dragon, that's trashy. But for the most part, I think it's fine. I think... Heck I'm going to die anyways, why not calm myself today with this. Don't really think of prospective cancers I could amass from it, but then again I hardly smoke much, so there's that..

I have a friend who smokes a lot, and she is 15, and started when she was 13. She doesn't look trashy at all, though maybe I'm biased because I really like her. She dresses well, and doesn't really act like an idiot in public, so there isn't really a problem in my opinion.

I know many of you dont like smoking. I for one dont like cigarettes at all, but I love to enjoy a cigar. Its a whole different way of smoking. The smoke dont get into the lungs. When its cigarettes, the smoke is a stinky biproduct. When its cigars the smoke is the wanted product. There are good tastes and textures in the smoke and thats what you enjoy. When I smoke cigars its usually the Churchill size (long and thick) and it lasts an hour and sometimes more. For many people a cigar is their best moment of the day which they look forward to. I believe a cigarette-smoker has to have the cigarette soon because they are addicted?

I think the difference in the way of smoking cigarettes and cigars, is really big. Therefore my statement is:

MASSIVE turn off. Sorry, it's just my opinion of it. I don't care how attractive she is, if she smokes chances are I'll be way off of her before I've even started to like her. In all honesty, at times it almost makes me sad to see attractive girls smoking, because I know of the harm it can do. The worst is when you breathe in second hand smoke - no thanks.
