There is at least one person of your age who is gay in your area, but they don't want it to be known. I predict at least 20 non-straight in my school, but they are in the closet and don't want to come out, so I don't know who those people are.
It helps to ask them and/or their opinions on LGBT things in general. It is known that quite a few of us LGBTers did have homophobia in the past, because we could not accept out sexuality. So some homophobes you meet will probably be self-conflicting LGBTs.
Apart from that, I don't see any practical way to find out, other than coming out yourself .
Hope this helps!

You won't be able to find anyone who's out&comfortable with their sexuality at your age easily.. some 13 yr olds who're gay haven't even questioned there sexuality never mind comfortable with being gay!

Hi ajm. I kno this is little consolation, but even str8 lads our age can find it very difficult to make friends with girls. In my case I go to an all-boys school and hardly kno any girls at all. Tho I guess whenever we meet girls at least we can kno that they're prolly str8 and cud b interested and there's no real fear like w homophobes. So I sympathise. It's really not fair that gays hafta keep in the closet -- you'd think we cud get beyond all that and just accept ppl.

Agree with this, but also some people take time to realise it for themselves, just as we go through puberty at different times and rates.

Dont worry guys, it wont stay that way forever. There'll be someone who really wants to meet you as you want to meet him. ;)

I am sure there are some out there, its because at that age they reserve their sexuality sometimes.

I know what you mean, and in my opinion it seems surprisingly even more difficult to find guys in college...(sad face) :( Still playing the waiting game.

Most people around your age arent sure what they are just yet, so they arent going to follow up on what they think. Sometimes you have to go looking yourself, theres no chance unless you take one.
