View Full Version : Foreskin/Frenulum

Good evening/afternoon or perhaps even morning, depending on your geographical location in the world.

To get to the point, I have a problem with my penis. I can retract my foreskin completely. But, when erect, the frenulum is stretched and does turn white revealing that the blood has been cut off from it. Obviously, this needs addressing...

I am just wondering what the surgical route is, would I need a circumcision as I think this would probably lead me to suicide, literally. I wouldn't mind the frenuplasty or whatever it is called... but the circumcising is really not an option. Oh lord, it is the frenulum and not tight foreskin isn't it? Surely!

Please, someone put my nerves to rest!

Thanks a lot.

Ian

the best thing you can do is see a doctor. i know it might be embaressing and whatever, but you said it yourself, it needs addressing. at least by seeing the doctor, he/she can point you in the right direction for what needs to be done.

Aye, I suppose so. Tar, I think I'll drag a mate a long. I've told quite a few friends about things, during various alcohol fueled social events.

Go to a doctor as soon as you can and have it checked up... if the blood isn't flowing normaly down there, it can cause some more damages, and if you need surgical intervention just tell him/her what you want and don't want, it's their job so there's nothing to be embarrased about.
Yes tell some of your friends about it, it's always good to have support or at least someone to talk to... but try not to tell everyone, just the ones that are close to you.

The OP has the right to get more opinions than just yours. This thread can stay open.

If you can retract, it' not phimosis. It's not a frenulum breve ('short frenulum'), which would make retraction difficult, too, and/or pull the glans ('head') down rather noticeably and painfully.

The frenulum, when stretched, is white, so your description doesn't sound like there's anything wrong. If everything works OK, I'm not sure what your concern is, are you just noticing this or is it new?

As always, if you're bothered ask your dad or your doctor.

To all who saw the posts that have been deleted: I'd like to apologise for my actions, I let my personal opinions and issues with other certain people on this forum cloud my judgement, and actually misread the original post (reading can as "can't). Sorry to all who were involved, esp. to ShesLostControl.

Fight frenulum will, at worst, require frenuloplasty. It's basically cutting microscopic Z's in your frenulum. After it heals, everything will look exactly the same except it won't be tight anymore.

As far as I know, that's the only treatment for frenulum breve. Recovery time is pretty brief. It's a minor surgery. Your doctor might recommend a steroidal cream to try first - I don't know much about that form of treatment.
