Typically, The Beatles- Here Comes The Sun.
Occasionally, Tony Orlando- Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Old Oak Tree.
The latter usually makes me sad though.
To put my life into perspective, either Boards of Canada- A Moment of Clarity or Ingrid Michaelson- Keep Breathing.
When I feel sad about growing up, usually pre-disney Club Penguin music.

I listen to sad songs to get myself feeling better (Adam's song-Blink182, Have you ever seen the rain?-John Fogorty). It sort of works like reverse psychology.

Usually, if I'm sad/angry/annoyed I listen to Glenn Miller's "In the mood". I don't know why, but after listening to it I can only be calm.

This song has a very uplifting message that has helped me recently when I get down on myself. Besides the meaning of the song, there's just this uplifting sound in it. Ska is just a genre in general that cheers me up.

@Almighty Me:
I didn't think there was anyone else in our generation that likes Glen Miller! I like all kinds of music, including the old stuff! My parents are almost 60 (my siblings are over 30) & my dad put in a Glen Miller CD when I was 8, & I loved it! His music makes me get up & move- even if I can't dance.
The Talking Heads helps me get into a good move- they play every instrument & bang on anything- it makes me feel better because it is sometimes silly. My older brother loves them.
Also- thanks to earlier posters for the YouTube links. I enjoyed music!
