Me and a few friends are thinking of cycling down the Avenue Vert from London to Paris over 4 days. I was listening to a travel podcast and this was mentioned and it got me all excited and my friends are too. Only 1 out of the 4 of us is a keen cyclist, he can do 100 miles in a day, (so he says) but the rest of us only cycle casually so we're going on the 18 week training course, eventually doing about 75 miles in one day. The whole trip is about 165 miles from the London Eye to the Eiffel Tower. :D
