Today I had surgery and I am having trouble ejaculating! I've also been having trouble urinating and it's a bit annoying, I read online that its most likely from the anesthetic that they put me on to pass out but I want to verify or see if anything that I can do to fix this ASAP?

What type of surgery did you have?

My best guess is that the anesthetics are still numbing your body a little bit, and that could potentially make it harder to control your muscles and bodily functions.

Umm lol look it up if you dare, anal prolapse surgery, but mine was much more minor and was a different procedure because of how minor mine was

That's something you're going to have to tell the surgeon if it persists.
How long ago did you have it?

I made the mistake of looking it up. Never again.
It is probably just a temporary side effect of the surgery since it was in the same area of all that stuff.
I will stress what I do on all threads like this one though that we are not doctors on here, so don't take any serious medical advice from anyone here. If it persists, I would strongly recommend that you ask your doctor about it, even if you're embarrassed.

I couldn't think of any way that you could actually get rid of this. Just let it everything run its course, it's certainly not a big deal that you can't ejaculate right now. Gve it a week and the problem should be cleared up.

I know what that is I've never had that happen to me but I'm sure it's not fun, anyway the anesthetic does inhibit feeling so yea until that wears off you'll have trouble ejaculating assuming u were able t before. If this persists for longer than u feel tired then I would see your doctor/surgeon and ask about it

Puberty for Boys  VT General Hospital

This sounds much more medical related than puberty related, hence why I'm moving this here

Glad you're feeling better....

The anesthesia and the trauma from surgery and any pain meds are all going to get in the way here, Colin. Don't stress about it, and try to leave it alone for a bit.

When you see your doc for a check up, you can ask him...I'm actually a bit surprised he didnt mention this to you, being 14 and all.

Hey Colin....

Hope you're feeling better. Sorry you had to deal with that. Take care of yourself; try not to stress.

Anesthetics mess with your entire body; it's the urinating part that I'd be more concerned about. Talk to the doc asap if that keeps up.....

Can I ask if they gave you a cause/reason for having the anal prolapse?
