Yes, it is. Chalk it up to hormones, your penis is responding to them.

Thankfully, this is temporary, your body gets used to all that testosterone and you won't be erect uncontrollably.

Try wearing briefs, the extra tightness gives some extra support, so it won't be noticeable.

I agree with the know-it-all, it's all down to puberty and hormones. :P This happens to neary every guy at this point in his life, it's part of growing up and becoming a man. :P During puberty, your body is producing more testosterone, causing all these lovely, lovely changes. Basically, all that extra hormone is causing you to get erections randomly. This should stop happening over time. :)

the exact thing happened to me before, only i was erect in the locker room and the gym teacher came in. just think about other things and try not to look at hot girls;)

Same thing happened to me while I was in 6th grade. It finally stopped when I got used to everything.
