I'm a guy like that who is usually alone ;_; but anyways, just talk with him casually, and if he seems uninterested, then that usually means that he's shy. :wub:

You have to do it in person it works way better. Try to "accidently" bumb into him. Try something to start off a small conversation or something. If you are really interested you will have to make the move.

I agree. Another thing I would say is that if you try to forget seeing him as a potential botfriend, but just a friend, it will make things easier. That has worked for me before in starting to talk to someone new.

Start with simple questions about where's something or does he know where can you find your friend or did he see anyone crossing around. Be creative. He'll notice you and ask you for sure once. Just be relaxed and brave. He'll notice you if you talk with him. Those small and simple question may change your life ;).
