So I broke up with my gf a couple weeks ago and I'm ready to start talking to someone new, but I feel as if I need someone who is attractive...Like dont get me wrong i dont date for just looks. But before my gf (first legit gf) i found alot of girls pretty, and my gf was absolutely gorgeous, and now i feel like i cant find someone that looks as good, ik im over it due to i wouldnt want to go back to my ex but idk should i wait for someone to come along? Please No hate, Im just trying to figure out why i need someone who is above average.:)

Yeah, just wait for someone to come along. Perhaps you still think about your ex, even unconsciously, and you compare all girls to her or you're just not ready yet. Take yourself some time.

As you were with someone you found attractive and that has now ended, you're going to look for someone of similar attractiveness to her. I think you should wait a bit longer to look for someone though, it has only been a couple weeks and you don't want to rush anything.

Wait and just let yourself cool down. After a while you'll find someone that you really like, and they'll be extremely beautiful to you, even if they don't match the stereotypical 'gorgeous'. Be patient and the right person will come :)
