I have a very promenant vein on top of my penis at its base and it goes all the way to mid shaft alomost. It is very promenant even when im soft and flaccid !!

Is it normal? Do other boys have it or its sonething unusual ?!

It's very normal, I have 3 (one splits into two) two of them stay enlarged when flaccid.

Their harmless, they just provide blood to the penis.

Agree with Jay. It shouldnt be painful or uncomfortable, but it is perfectly normal otherwise. Your penis needs a blood supply to be healthy and to get erect, so it sounds like yours is well set up to do that!

If I've done too much wanking, a vein appears very prominent then settles back down after a few days. You must have a vein that's closer to the surface. As other guys have said, it's normal :)

You're fine! The penis is actually naturally veiny but only some have a "veiny penis" some find it attractive. Some don't have prominent veins. Are they any less normal or more normal? Neither, they are unique like the penis.
I have prominent veins but it is no problem.

Most penises have veins which is how the blood gets into the penis! I also have a big vein on top of my penis it's nothing to worry about, completely normal
