Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if the human race only had one gender? o_O

We would asexually reproduce, I guess.

If it was like a hermaphrodite gender or like Myles said asexual
Edit: sorry I didn't mean to double post if a mod sees this could you merge it please?

This is actually estimated to happen some time in the future. The Y chromosome that determines the male gender (guys are XY, girls are XX) is slowly going away. By the time it disappears though we would probably reproduce asexually.

Here's hoping we turn hermaphrodites, instead of reproducing asexually.

We wouldn't have so many political issues, and we would reproduce in a similar fashion to sponges.

Well i think it would be kinda cool. Lets say if for some reason we couldn't reproduce anymore. We would have clones and they would be ours slaves  Then they would riot against us and then we would all would die :yeah: Dont mind me i watch too many movies.

Yeah, it's kinda sad that in 100.000 years or so there won't be males.
But i guess that by that time humanity would propably control births in some way and make it so there is more or less an even number of males and females.

Also if people wanted to be male they could still get gender reassignment treatment.

That's true, i also guess that by that time the results would be so good that it'd look like you have always been a male :)

I doubt humanity will last another THOUSAND years let alone 100K so we should be safe.

I never really thought about it, because I know that the world would be way more different than I can possibly imagine.

That's also true.
If anything, in 100.000 years i doubt we could even define ourselves "human".

No gender? Oh that would be a boring world.
I like the fact of being a male and having both male and female friends :) its just perfect!

Can we have both sets of genitals instead of asexual reproduction? Cause I'd have a ball with that. Can the one gender look like women? Pulease?
