Ok, theres this girl i like and shes having here birthday party this week. Im not invited (not because she doesnt like me but because im more or less invisible to everyone) and i dont see her often, but i would like to give her a gift. I dont have any money at all, and i dont want to give a card because that is to weak. I have an idea for a metal pendant i can engrave with something on it and wanted to know what everyone else thinks. Also i wouldnt like my family to find out because of my own reasons (Nothing bad just embarrassment mainly). Also im very shy and only had one gf before (turned out badly).

Go for it! And I don't think that a card, even in addition to the pendent, is necessarily weak. It can often say and mean so much more than an expensive gift. You could highlight a joke, or some memorable moment that you two shared that would make her smile and appreciate it.
