Is the Mac mini worth buying?

I want if the mac mini is worth buying I want to buy a mac for video editing and etc, also buy brother doesn't have a PC nor a laptop and it annoys me when he wants to use my PC, because I have stuff on my PC :| He's only 12 he only watches YouTube and plays Minecraft and I'm pretty sure there is some kind of way he can type essays on mac?

It all depends on the specs vs price. Plus you need to have a monitor to be able to use a Mac mini, so if you do not have one you might have to spend some extra money.

I have a monitor with HDMI, DVI and VGA

Depends on the use. If ur browing and doing light stuff it's fine. I edit in photoshop after effects and final cut so I went with the iMac.

I would recommend a Mac mini but wait till they get updated. I also edit in final cut and I use photoshop ECT on my 2012 Macbool pro 13 inch and it has similar internals to the Mac mini. If you are worried about power get the iMac but make sure to bump the ram up as you can not upgrade the RAM after purchase.
