Ok I think after many years of them popping up that they are sebaceous cysts. I've been getting them for years and I have never known what they are or how to deal with them. They've knocked my confidence because I feel as if I cannot 'do' anything because of where they come up. Because they come up in quite a delicate place I wanted to know where I could get it checked out? Would I go to my local gp or to a sexual health clinic?

I'd suggest your GP or even a dermatologist. Its not related to your urology or reproductive system.

Thanks. I just have never needed to go to a doctor for anything like this so I was unsure of which route to take!

no need rush to your doc cuz you had them for a while just go and tell him in your next checkup, cysts generally are harmless so dont worry

If you're getting them in... THAT area, then it's likely that you're just doing THAT a little bit too vigorously. Calm THAT down and they might stop appearing. How often do you get them?

You should get any kind of lump(s) checked out by a doctor, instead of trying to diagnose it yourself. I have one, I knew what it was, but I had the doc look at it during my regular check up anyways. You should have a regular doctor and be getting regular check ups whether there's something wrong with you or not. I've had the same pediatrician my whole life and he knows everything about my body.

Go see a doc ASAP. They can become a huge problem.
