Why are people banned?

I'm just curious what the reason or reasons that are most common for banning people. There a lot of rules, and they all make sense. Just wondering.

There are various reasons. If you get enough infractions, you will be banned. If you join over the age of 19, you'll be banned. Basically, if you continually break the rules (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/faq.php), you'll wind up banned.

You'd be surprised how many people just don't read the rules or don't understand them and don't ask. Never be afraid to PM a staff member if you've got a question about a rule or whether or not it's acceptable to post something or whatever your question may be. The only stupid question would be one not asked.

Thanks! I honestly haven't read the rules from top to bottom, but I'm gonna guess using common sense is a good rule :)

If you haven't, I'd suggest that you do read all the site & forum rules pretty closely.
If you don't want to end up like the hundreds of people that have been banned, a firm understanding of all the rules is a great place to start!
And yes, common sense is a very good rule! ;)
