Norwegian company Spectrum is set to start the research in the Adriatic sea for oil and gas.
Their ship will start from port of Zadar with the seismic imaging of the underwater.
Croatian Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak revealed at the same time Croatia could in several years start to export gas.
Croatia actually has 65 percent of its needs of natural gas and 20 percent of oil.
